Private Equity Associate – Infrastructure - Large cap

Global infrastructure investment platform with more than EUR 15 billion in assets under management and a presence in over 10 countries. The firm recently launched two flagship funds targeting over EUR 8 billion across core and value‑add strategies. Their portfolio spans digital infrastructure, energy transition, transportation, and essential public services across Europe and select global markets.

The Frankfurt office is a strategic hub for deal origination in DACH and Central Europe, and the team is now looking to hire a high-caliber Associate to support new investments and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support origination and execution of direct infrastructure investments across Europe
• Perform in-depth financial modelling, valuation analysis, and investment due diligence
• Participate in the structuring and negotiation of transaction terms and financing
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals and external advisers across the full deal lifecycle
• Monitor asset performance and contribute to value creation initiatives across the portfolio
• Prepare investment committee materials and strategic presentations

Candidate Profile:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in leading investment banking, private equity within Infrastructure.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
• Experience in infrastructure, real assets, or regulated sectors preferred
• Top-tier academic background; CFA or equivalent qualification is a plus
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage
• Motivated self-starter with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
