We’re looking for a frontend-focused engineer who’s excited to help Hemi build tools that support patients and therapists, cares about making a real difference, and enjoys working closely with a small, hands-on team.

• Familiarity with the company's stack: VS Code, Opencode AI, GitHub & GitHub Actions, Linear, Figma, Slack, Google Workspace, Sentry, Metabase and Mixpanel

Accountabilities

• Build and improve patient-facing and clinician-facing product features
• Own frontend implementation of key user journeys
• Work closely with UX and product to shape solutions together
• Take responsibility for the quality of what you ship
• Translate complex workflows into clear, maintainable code
• Contribute to backend or API work when needed
• Help evolve the product as Hemi grows
• Build digital tools that heal, with the freedom to own your work.

About the job

Hemi is building a digital platform that supports patients and therapists between clinical sessions. The product includes patient-facing tools, therapist dashboards, and AI-supported features designed to continuously improve care over time.

The company is especially excited about the opportunities AI unlocks to enhance both sides of the experience — from an AI pain coach that helps patients stay engaged, supported, and motivated between appointments, to a clinical copilot that helps therapists work more efficiently and make better-informed decisions with richer insights and smarter workflows.

You’re comfortable making product trade-offs, not just implementing tickets.

You will work closely with UX and product in a small, caring team that values good communication, integrity, and thoughtful decision-making.
