Product Engineering Specialist - Electronics (f/m/d)

This position reports to: Production Engineering Manager.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will join a dynamic and flexible team, driving the continuous improvement of our electromechanical and electronic switchgear products, including manual motor starters, contactors, thermal relays, and electronic relays. Your work will be highly diverse, ranging from design and testing to measurements, part inspections, cost‑saving initiatives, and production support. You will often take the lead on work packages and projects, playing a key role in the further development and optimisation of our products.

• Responsibility for several electronic products, with a focus on electronic relays, controls, and machine safety products
• Leading projects and work packages, while coordinating and moderating collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders
• Carrying out minor modifications and optimisations to existing PCB designs
• Selecting, integrating, and implementing new electrical components into existing and new product solutions
• Continuously improving existing products, for example with regard to design for manufacturing, cost optimisation, and functional design
• Supporting and implementing specific customer requirements as well as providing technical solutions for individual needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field, ideally combined with relevant professional experience
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to structure work packages and projects effectivelyAbility to demonstrate advanced skills in the design of electronic devices
• Experience in the development of electronic devices is highly beneficial
• Knowledge of tools such as Allegro, Altium, PSpice, and Windchill is an advantage
• Certificate of Professional Competence in Electrical Engineering
• Full professional communication skills in German and fluency in English
