Product Owner - Flight Control

Your mission

As Product Owner working directly with the Program Lead, you will be the critical link between stakeholders, users, and our agile development teams. You will make an important contribution to delivering state of the art software for our military customers

Responsibilities

• Implement and Grow Scrum across the development teams
• Define and communicate the product roadmap in alignment with business and user needs.
• Maintain, prioritize, and refine the product backlog to maximize value delivery.
• Define and communicate acceptance criteria and ensure the quality of delivered increments.
• Collaborate with development teams and the Scrum Master to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment on sprint goals.
• Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term strategic objectives, especially under security, certification, and integration constraints.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 5+ years of experience as Product Owner (or comparable role) in complex software projects.
• Solid understanding of Agile principles, specifically Scrum.
• Experience with mission-critical, regulated, or security-sensitive software environments (defense, aerospace, transportation, etc.).
• Strong communicational skills
• Strong experience with stakeholder managment
• Structured, analytical mindset with a focus on delivering value.
• Excellent German and English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with military operational concepts and integration requirements.
• Experience with certifications processes and security considerations in defense software.
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, system integration, and complex software landscapes.
