Product Owner – Wall Construction & Building Physics (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and committed Product Owner – Wall Construction & Building Physics (m/f/d) to join us with immediate effect.

We are rethinking the wall—holistically, economically, and optimized for building physics. As Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing an optimized wall construction using our concrete 3D printer.

Your Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end product ownership of our wall construction—from the load-bearing concrete core to the finished exterior façade
• Develop wall assemblies that are cost-efficient, standards-compliant, and scalable (insulation, layer build-up, system integration)
• Optimize wall geometries with regard to material usage, building physics performance, cost, GWP reduction, and construction workflow
• Evaluate new insulation systems, materials, and hybrid construction methods
• Work closely with project execution teams and support project acquisition and delivery
• Act as a sparring partner for our printing teams, ensuring that all wall-system developments are implemented pragmatically and become visible on our construction sites quickly
• Manage multiple parallel projects with external customers and development partners
• Deliver these projects independently at senior level—technically, on schedule, and within budget
• Systematically translate on-site learnings into continuous improvements of our construction system
• Think of the wall not as a detail, but as a scalable product

Your Profile

• Completed degree in building physics, civil engineering, architecture, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in residential construction
• Hands-on, can-do mindset with a strong sense of ownership, sound decision-making, and a track record of delivering results
• Very good understanding of thermal performance, wall and insulation systems, and on-site construction processes
• Strong technical competence in assessing complex construction engineering topics
• Ability to think of wall solutions not only from a technical perspective but as an economically viable and scalable product
• Solid understanding of ecological assessment metrics in the construction sector, e.g., GWP, CO₂ footprint, and life-cycle assessment
• Strategic and commercial thinking with a clear focus on cost, efficiency, and feasibility
• Interest in innovative construction methods and automation
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
