Production Operations Specialist / Manager

Your Mission

As Production Operations Specialist / Manager, you are the central interface between Sales, Design, and Production. You ensure seamless translation of customer requirements into efficient and executable production plans while maintaining operational excellence across supply chain and logistics processes.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Act as the operational link between Sales, Design, and Production to ensure alignment and execution readiness
• Review and validate customer requirements, ensuring feasibility and completeness
• Assess internal technical capabilities and resource availability to support customer and project needs
• Maintain and continuously improve Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and inventory data integrity
• Monitor and enforce configuration management processes to ensure traceability and compliance
• Support supplier lifecycle management, including supplier evaluation, auditing, qualification, and selection
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure material availability, supplier performance, and risk mitigation
• Support logistics and export control processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability

Your Profile

You are a structured and proactive operations professional with strong technical understanding and the ability to coordinate across multiple functions. You thrive in dynamic environments and take ownership of operational excellence.

You bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field
• Experience in production operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial project coordination (3+ years for Manager level)
• Strong understanding of production processes, BOM management, and configuration management
• Experience with supplier management, supplier evaluation, or supply chain coordination
• Familiarity with ERP and MES systems (e.g. Odoo)
• Structured, detail-oriented, and highly organized working style
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
• Ability to assess technical and operational constraints and make pragmatic decisions
• Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)

Optional / Plus

• Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, automotive, medical devices, defense, electronics, etc.)
• Knowledge of export control regulations
