easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance team are renowned for their innovative solutions and as part of the team you will have the opportunity to engage with all aspects of the airline’s operation to deliver the highest standards of aircraft performance. As a member of the Engineering and Maintenance team you will play a part in delivering Europe’s highest technical despatch reliability as recognised by Airbus. With the current programme introducing cutting‑edge NEO aircraft and the arrival of the A321, there couldn’t be a better time to join the team.
As Production Support Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our engineering base operations, ensuring our teams have everything they need to deliver outstanding performance. You will identify, recommend, and implement improvements within the department, challenging the norm and seeking efficiencies. You will maintain relations and act as the point of liaison with central service functions such as ID, training, Payroll, and HRSC.
You will manage the ordering and distribution of uniform and PPE, ensuring teams have the right equipment on time and demonstrating the highest personal standards to our customers. You will communicate all relevant airport regulations and guidelines as distributed by the airport governing body.
You will manage and control the team roster to ensure sufficient engineering coverage, tracking overtime, shift swaps, sickness, and leave within the department, escalating any areas of concern that may impact the scheduled maintenance plan. You will report overtime and sickness absence to the central payroll team to maintain accuracy in paying our people correctly and on time.
You will support and coordinate base recognition and engagement initiatives as set out by the local management team, which may include organising social events at base. You will compile reports on station performance such as man-hour availability, defects cleared at base level, and stores performance for base management meetings.
This full‑time role will be based in BER and will be 40 hours per week. The role requires occasional travel requirements to easyJet’s headquarters or network locations.
