We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Software Engineer with expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining the stability, performance, and functionality of our SFCC platform through proactive monitoring, effective incident resolution, and minor enhancements.
Monitoring: Monitor alerts received through email and create incident tickets as appropriate. Monitor error logs generated and create incident tickets for offending logs.
Users Permission Management: Provide and maintain appropriate user roles and permission to specific environments.
Ticket Resolution:
Incident: Provide resolution within SLA (it could be a code change or configuration change).
Problem: Perform Root Cause Analysis for incidents, provide a resolution, and oversee implementation.
Demand: Serve as a Consultant, provide solution or alternative solution approach. Implement the agreed approach and create documentation.
Unit Testing: Perform unit testing for all fix tickets that require code changes.
Code Reviews: Approve / Reject Pull Requests and provide feedback.
Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Provide updates to stakeholders on the status of ongoing support tasks and projects.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for troubleshooting guides, technical procedures, and knowledge base articles. This documentation helps streamline future support activities and knowledge sharing.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and upgrades to SFCC instances. Ensure that the platform and associated integrations are up-to-date and secure.
Deployment: Deploy code changes to different Demo (QA test environment), Staging (UAT), and Production (Live Storefront) environments.
Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) is essential.
Proven ability to perform incident resolution, root cause analysis, and implement code fixes.
Experience with code deployment and management across multiple environments (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD tools specific to SFCC).
Strong understanding of code review processes and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder updates.
Demonstrated ability to manage user permissions and access control.
