This position is for the winter term of 2025/26 at our campus in Berlin , limited to 2 years , starting on October 1st, 2025 . It can be full-time (5 days on campus) or part-time (4 days on campus).

Responsibilities

• Represent the field of Cyber Security in teaching and research within the bachelor's degree program and engage with a broad network in higher education.
• Develop and lead face-to-face lectures on campus and supervise students during exams and thesis preparations.
• Teach practice-oriented fundamental knowledge in Cyber Security covering areas like Data Protection, Standards, Challenges, and Secure Networking.
• Contribute to developing innovative teaching formats and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational methods.

Profile

• Completed a university degree in Cyber Security or a related field with outstanding academic performance , and a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) .
• At least five years of practical work experience , including three outside academia, with some initial teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrate expertise through publications or projects.
• Work team-oriented and reliably, capable of in-person and virtual teaching.
• Reside permanently in Germany .
• Proficiency in English (C1 level) CEFR.
