The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced CSA / MEP Project Director to act in a client-side leadership role on a major data centre project in Frankfurt. This position sits on the owner / developer side and carries full responsibility for managing delivery partners across both CSA and MEP scopes on a mission-critical facility.

You will represent the client’s interests from pre-construction through commissioning and handover, ensuring programme certainty, quality, and compliance across all workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Act as client-side Project Director for CSA & MEP works
Lead and coordinate EPCs, main contractors, and MEP contractors
Own programme, cost, risk, and reporting on behalf of the client
Oversee design management, procurement strategy, and construction execution
Manage MEP systems including HV/LV, substations, generators, UPS, cooling, BMS, and commissioning
Chair senior progress meetings and interface with internal stakeholders and external consultants
Ensure compliance with mission-critical standards and local regulations
Drive issue resolution, change control, and commercial governance

Candidate Requirements (Essential)

Proven client-side experience as a Project Director / Development Manager / PM on data centre or mission-critical projects
Strong understanding of MEP systems with solid CSA coordination experience
Background working for data centre operators, developers, consultancies, or client representatives
Experience managing multiple contractors and consultants rather than self-delivery
Strong commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management skills
Able to work on site in Frankfurt
EU work eligibility preferred
Experience overseeing commissioning and integrated systems testing
Previous delivery in Germany or mainland Europe
