Project Management Analyst

We are working with a major European institution supporting a strategic digital transformation initiative related to the Digital Euro programme.

They require a Project Management Analyst (PMO) to join them on a full-time consulting engagement, supporting the Digital Euro Project Management Office.

This role will focus on project planning, progress tracking, risk monitoring, and reporting automation, ensuring structured governance and accurate reporting across the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project planning activities, including progress tracking and milestone reporting
• Collect and analyse project information from key stakeholders and prepare summary reports and presentations
• Assist with updates to the project plan and validate dependencies and assumptions
• Maintain and update risk registers, project plans, and organisational project documentation
• Prepare monthly status reports for the Digital Euro Project Steering Group
• Monitor project resource consumption and contribute to financial tracking and reporting
I>Support project controllers with updates to financial envelopes where required
• Develop automated reporting tools and dashboards using VBA, Power BI, or Power Automate
• Collaborate closely with the Digital Euro PMO team to ensure accurate project governance and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or PMO environments
• Familiarity with established project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar
• Strong experience using Excel for financial planning and reporting
• Experience using project management tools such as MS Project or similar software
• Knowledge of data visualisation or reporting tools such as Power BI
• Experience with VBA or reporting automation is advantageous
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level or above)
• Ability to handle confidential information and work within highly regulated environments
• Engagement: Full-time consulting assignment
• Location: Primarily remote within the European Economic Area (EEA)
• Onsite: Up to 10 days per month in Frankfurt upon request
