In this role, you will work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP HANA implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful implementation that meets business objectives. Manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation and budget management, managing schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including SAP HANA consultants, IT, and business stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and project delivery.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure successful project delivery and quality assurance.
• Ensure quality assurance and testing of SAP HANA solutions to meet business objectives and customer needs.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to stakeholders to ensure transparency and effective project management.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Deep expertise in SAP HANA implementation: Proven experience in managing large-scale SAP HANA implementation projects with a strong understanding of SAP HANA products and project management methodologies.
• Experience with cross-functional team management: Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong project planning and execution skills: Experience in developing and executing project plans, resource allocation, and budget management for successful delivery.
• Vendor relationship management: Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure project success and quality assurance.
• Quality assurance and testing: Experience in ensuring QA and testing of SAP HANA solutions to meet business objectives.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP HANA product knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP HANA products, features, functionality, and implementation best practices. Knowledge of product roadmaps and release cycles is beneficial.
• Agile project methodologies: Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban and applying these methodologies to SAP HANA projects.
• IT service management: Knowledge of ITIL and applying ITSM frameworks to ensure high-quality SAP HANA solutions and services.
