Project Manager for Space Electronics (m/f/d)

Due to our increased engagement in the area of space electronics and laser instruments in collaboration with international partners and institutes, we are hiring new employees to strengthen our team in the electronics department.

• Responsible for the execution of electronics development projects in the space market
• Responsible for planning and managing project activities in terms of cost, schedule and quality
• Management of a project team of highly skilled experts
• Serving as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Reporting to company management
• Creation of a framework and atmosphere which allows efficient, team-oriented and customer focused project execution.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in aerospace, electronics or equivalent
• Experience in space project management
• Knowledge of space-related electrical design requirements (e.g. ECSS)
• Knowledge of all aspects of space project life cycle from design development and procurement to AIT
• Strong drive to deliver projects on cost, on time and on quality
• Pro‑active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility
• Team player with good organizational and communication skills within an international and interdisciplinary team
• Fluent in English – good knowledge of German would be a definite advantage.
