Project Manager – Power Electronics OR Electronics

Ampere Recruitment are supporting a leading engineering organisation in Baden-Württemberg in the search for a Project Manager with a strong technical grounding in electronics or power supplies .

This is a key position sitting between engineering and stakeholders, ideal for someone who understands power electronics but enjoys driving projects, timelines, and delivery.

⚡ The Role

You will take ownership of complex engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to production. Working closely with R&D, customers, and senior leadership, you’ll act as the central point of coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading end-to-end project delivery within power electronics / electronic systems
• Managing timelines, budgets, risks, and resource planning
• Acting as the interface between engineering teams and external stakeholders
• Supporting technical decision-making with your electronics knowledge
• Driving cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and manufacturing
• Ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and performance targets
• Facilitating design reviews and tracking project milestones

What They’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within electronics or power electronics
• Strong technical understanding of:
• Power supplies (AC/DC, DC/DC) or electronic systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred)
