ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology

Enabler for smaller, more powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips Work where tomorrow is created. Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are manufactured using ZEISS technologies.

As the heart of every electronically controlled system, they are indispensable in our daily lives – whether in smartphones, smart homes, or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems, and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, more powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips – and thus plays a key role in shaping the age of micro- and nanoelectronics with its innovations.

• Understand and analyze customer requirements regarding the metrology and inspection workflows of semiconductor devices

• Manage internal projects targeting applications and solutions development for problems related to semiconductor metrology and inspection

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and tool allocation for demonstrations.

• Coordinate the technology demonstration process, ensuring all necessary resources and tools are available and effectively utilized.

• Manage external partners, to support application development.

• Collaborate with the team to prepare detailed reports on project progress, outcomes, and customer feedback.

• Present project outcomes and reports to customers, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.

• Work closely with other project managers within the organization, e.g. in R&D.

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or semiconductor manufacturing or material science or related fields.
• A good degree of understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing industry and their processes
• Experience working with SEM technology
• Being familiar with modern 3D NAND; DRAM and logic architecture brings a clear advantage
• Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and tact.
• Office presence at least 3 days per week or more depending on business needs.
• Some degree of international travel will be required.
• Fluent in English
