Project Technician/ Project Engineer

The Project Technician supports the planning, design and implementation of technical projects within the engineering environment. The role contributes to the development, optimization and documentation of technical systems and production-related equipment while ensuring smooth coordination between engineering, production and external partners. This position is based in Pritzwalk, Germany, where our production site is located.

Role/Responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of technical projects from initial concept through design, specification, and execution
• Create technical drawings for individual components and assemblies using 2D and 3D CAD systems
• Prepare part lists, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation based on measurements, design specifications, or existing documentation
• Support the commissioning of technical systems and production equipment
• Analyse existing technical systems and production processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Production Engineering departments to support technical developments and operational improvements
• Contribute to the integration of new technologies into existing production systems and infrastructure
• Coordinate and support external contractors and service providers during smaller technical projects
• Perform technical support tasks such as technical research, measurements, clarifications, and drawing preparation
• Support engineering teams in maintaining accurate technical documentation and design records

Profile/Requirements

• Ideally a technical degree or technician qualification (not mandatory)
• Strong technical understanding and hands‑on experience in an industrial environment
• Extensive experience in technical design using 2D and 3D CAD software (experience with Autodesk solutions is an advantage)
• Independent, structured, and solution‑oriented working style
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good organizational skills with a hands‑on mindset
• Fluency in German and English is required
