Your role in our team:

• Ensure effective and efficient group‑wide product development by…
  • Support in defining and maintaining group‑wide project management standards, processes and methods of Engineering (SUx and PUx) (plan, do, check, act)
    • Review and improve quality of project management within R&D projects
    • Support use of project management tools and methods
  • Application of Project Management for R&D projects (plan, do, check, act)
    • Continuously improve project management for R&D projects together with development planners
    • Continuously improve Simultaneous Engineering methodology
    • Identify needs for PJM qualification
    • Define PJM tool requirements and support tool application
    • Provide project support (help project manager to help themselves)
    • Continuously improve project management for R&D projects together with development planners
  • Coordinate R&D multi‑project management
    • Prepare the A Project and Project Management Performance Report for the GEB
    • Ensure “Manage Red” process for red A projects
    • Define, implement and assure use of multi‑project management process together with product strategy and development planners
  • Execution of milestone maturity audits (M2, M4, M5) for R&D projects including documentation and reporting of the results based on the CLAAS development process and standards

Your profile:

• B. Sc., M. Sc. or comparable university education (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or similar)
• Proven strong competencies in project management (PMI, Prince, IPMA, … certificates are a plus)
• A strong understanding of assessing the maturity of projects and products including subsequent areas such as production and after sales
• Minimum 10 years of professional and/or project management experience in R&D
• Experience in quality management is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, strong negotiation skills and convincing appearance
• Independent systematic way of working and strong analytical/conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, openness to intercultural cooperation
• Be familiar with MS‑Office and be open to other tools
• Ideally knowledge of the CLAAS organization
