( Technical Sales Consultant. Living Wall Systems)
Viritopia GmbH, our German subsidiary, is expanding rapidly to serve growing demand from architects, developers, and contractors seeking sustainable building solutions.
This role exists to convert specified projects into secured orders by combining commercial leadership with strong technical competence.
The Contractor Sales & Technical Manager is the primary point of contact for main contractors once a living wall system is specified — responsible for technical reassurance, commercial negotiation, and contract closure over long sales cycles (often 12–24 months).
This is a senior, consultative, project‑based sales role requiring credibility at both commercial and technical levels.

Responsibilities
Contractor Relationship & Commercial Sales
- Develop and maintain senior relationships with key German main contractors.
- Proactively introduce Viritopia to contractors before they encounter specified projects.
- Own the full contractor‑facing sales process from early engagement to signed order.
- Lead complex, long‑cycle negotiations covering scope, pricing, programme, risk, and responsibilities.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, tenders, and final offers.
Technical Advisory & Project Support
- Act as the technical authority for contractors on Viritopia living wall systems.
- Advise contractors on buildability, sequencing, interfaces, access, and programme impacts.
- Support contractors during value engineering discussions without compromising system integrity.
- Translate technical design intent into contractor‑relevant language and solutions.
- Coordinate closely with Viritopia’s internal design, engineering, and operations teams.
- Identify and resolve technical risks early to protect commercial outcomes.
Internal Coordination
- Ensure smooth handover from architect/specification stage into contractor delivery.
- Feed contractor‑led technical insights back into product development and system refinement.
- Support internal teams with contractor requirements, standards, and procurement routes.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience selling technically complex products or systems to main contractors.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site realities.
- High‑level technical literacy — able to discuss drawings, details, interfaces, and risks with confidence.
- Comfortable managing long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Germany.
- Experience supporting tender processes and contractor procurement teams.
- Familiarity with value engineering, alternative proposals, and technical substitutions.
- Experience working alongside architects and consultants in project environments.

Qualifications
- Valid driving licence and ability to travel nationally.
