As one of the leading Regional Coordination Centre (RCCs), we and our partners provide integrated services to 16 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) and their control centers in 12 European countries. Our network security assessment and capacity calculation procedures play an incremental role in securing the operational security of the European power system every hour of the day, around the clock.

This Is What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Requirements & Quality Assurance
    • Review business, functional, and non‑functional requirements
    • Identify quality risks, gaps, and ambiguities
    • Contribute to Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done
    • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and automated tests
  • Test Planning & Quality Gates
    • Define and maintain test plans
    • Enforce quality gates
    • Ensure quality criteria are clearly understood and applied by all stakeholders
    • Support go/no‑go release decisions
  • Test Design & Test Coverage
    • Design test scenarios and test cases
    • Ensure adequate test coverage across: requirements, code paths, business scenarios
    • Analyze coverage gaps and define actions to close them
  • Test Execution
    • Execute manual and automated test cases
    • Validate defect fixes and conduct re‑testing
    • Ensure automated tests are reliably executed as part of CI/CD pipelines
    • Analyze test results and identify quality issues
  • Test Automation
    • Identify and prioritize test cases for automation
    • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts
    • Contribute to and improve test automation frameworks
    • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines as quality gates
  • Defect Management & Quality Metrics
    • Identify, log, and track defects
    • Track and report quality metrics
  • Test Reporting
    • Provide test status and reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments
    • Validate that all quality gates are met prior to release

You come with

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles, QA practices, and development lifecycles with a focus on agile testing
  • Experience with manual testing, test automation, and testing tools
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, test coverage, and quality metrics
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and proactive working style
  • Innovative mindset with a strong passion for quality
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills
  • ISTQB Foundation certification (advanced ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus)
  • Experience in power grid system applications is an advantage
