Q&R Markets Europe Manager (m/w/d)

About The Role

You are part of a global team of Q&R Market experts ensuring all VERSUNI products are flawlessly approbated and certified and flow into the market without regulatory obstruction and delays. You support the Markets on product regulatory and product conformity requests as reliable business partner and assist on the observation and implementation of upcoming European & national regulations. Your main focus will be on Western Europe.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Be the business partner of the Markets on all Quality and Regulatory issues
• Monitor local regulatory developments and assess them on the impact for Versuni products/solutions
• Actively connect with national stakeholders via local industry associations
• Liaison with the National Consumer Organizations for VERSUNI product portfolio: active support on test and product improvement preparation and test post-processing
• Support on local post market surveillance (PMS) activities including product quality analysis, consumer escalations and surveillance audits by authorities
• Support on national regulatory registrations where needed
• Contribute to internal improvement initiatives

The Skills And Knowledge You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of proven successful engagement in the field of regulatory compliance, product safety and market access in Household Appliances or similar business types.
• Bachelor/Master’s degree or similar level preferably with technical background
• Teaming up: you are used to actively engage with different colleagues and team up to jointly achieve objectives.
• Business mindset in balance with the restrictive world of compliance requirements, safety and market access protocols.
• Good understanding of EU Regulatory processes and procedures is a strong asset
• Strong networking skills with a natural ability for engaging, influencing and inspiring others.
• Data driven and fluent in the English language
• As the position is based in Hamburg with national important Stakeholders such as Stiftung Warentest and Zentralverband Elektroindustrie Deutschland (ZVEI), fluency in the German language is a must have.
