Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d) - Purchasing Interface - Hamburg (hybrid)

We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d) to become part of one of our Purchasing Interface Team at ABOUT YOU onsite in Hamburg.

Our Purchasing Interface Team is the main system for the operational processes of our buying, procurement, private label & fotostudio business teams.

What you will do

• Manage and prioritize bug reports or bug tickets from internal stakeholders, always keeping their business value in mind
• Report bugs and reproduce them through the complete bug cycle
• Coordinate testing efforts to ensure the delivery of quality features
• Advocate for product quality within a cross‑functional internal custom software solution
• Contribute to ABOUT YOU’s long‑term automatic testing strategy

Who you are

• You can read and understand HTML and JSON API responses
• You are experienced in manual testing (explorative and destructive) as well as automated testing (e.g. with cypress.io)
• You have experience in handling databases such as MySQL
• You are able to get a quick grasp of complex technical systems
• You focus on the details but always keep the business value of software in mind
• You have a passion for quickly shipping innovative features that are simultaneously reliable
• You are experienced with agile methodologies and understand what it means to have a quality mindset in an agile environment
• You possess very good communication skills and the ability to handle different stakeholders
• You speak and write English fluently

• You can read and interpret PHP code and have cursory programming knowledge

Working model

Due to the upcoming tasks and responsibilities for this position, it is required to work onsite at our headquarters in Hamburg or in our Berlin office on a weekly basis. Therefore we’ve implemented a hybrid working model that allows us to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday.
