For our customer, EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer - Operations.
The primary objective of EUMETSAT is to establish, maintain and exploit European systems of operational meteorological satellites and to contribute to the operational monitoring of the climate and the detection of global climate changes. A further objective of EUMETSAT is to provide data, products and support services to the Copernicus information services and user communities, with a focus on marine, atmosphere and climate.
The service will be provided to the Process Assurance and Management Support Division QA team which ensures the process assurance and QA support to the Operations and Services to Users department (OPS). The latter has responsibility for running EUMETSAT’s operational satellite systems and ensuring the delivery of the data and services to its user community.

This is a full-time position to be located at EUMETSAT’s premises in Darmstadt, Germany with an expected start date as soon as possible.
The candidate shall have an university degree or equivalent in a technical subject and at least 3 years’ experience of a QA / process assurance role, preferably in an operational 24/7 data processing and/or service-provision environment. Experience of satellite / ground segment operations would be of special value.
