Quality Manager in Projects (f/m/d) for Global Customer Operations

Overview

A Snapshot of Your Day: You are the main quality contact for your assigned projects, working closely with the project manager, the Siemens Energy project team, and the customer’s quality representative. Your day involves reviewing requirements, developing and managing the project quality plan, monitoring progress with a risk-based mindset, and organizing inspections or audits. You support the closure of non-conformances, ensure documentation readiness for final handover, and contribute to continuous improvement across the department and wider business.

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality project outcomes
  • Securing compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual requirements
  • Driving risk management activities together with the project manager
  • Establishing and enforcing quality standards, specifications, and project quality plans
  • Advancing continuous improvement based on data, feedback, and lessons learned
  • Providing guidance to project teams on quality expectations, procedures, and non-conformance closure

What You Bring

  • An engineering degree or comparable qualification and experience in a project-related function
  • At least 5 years of experience in operational quality management or quality assurance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project, contract, and process management
  • Familiarity with management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001) and quality methods, with auditor certification as an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and relevant project documentation tools
  • Fluency in English and German
