R&D Engineer, Surgical Tools (m/f/d)
Support the technical development of innovative surgical tools and systems for otology, taking projects from initial concept to ready-to-ship products
Manage projects within the MED-EL quality system and actively support regulatory submissions to ensure compliance and excellence
Contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies with a strong focus on surgical systems
Take ownership of the creation and maintenance of Design History File documentation, including specifications, design input requirements, and design verification reports
Collaborate and coordinate closely with external suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions and drive successful project outcomes
Bachelor’s degree or higher degree (University, FH) in Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering or equivalent qualification with a strong focus on the design, development, and verification of electrical and electronic systems for medical devices
Professional experience in the medical device industry is highly desirable, particularly experience with electrical safety, EMC, applicable IEC standards, and system integration
Excellent technical writing skills
Good English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus
Self-driven with the ability to excel in a multi-disciplinary and focused team environment
Annual gross salary from € 54,723.53, based on professional qualification and experience.
