R&D Engineer - Thermal Mass Flow Sensor Innovative Manufacturing Methods (m/w/d)

Your activities

• Participate in the development of new and complex thermal mass flow sensor technology
• Selection, development and qualification of novel manufacturing methods of thermal mass flow sensors under consideration of economic, technical and safety factors
• Independent development of solutions for rapid prototyping and mass production as well as collaboration with in- and external partners
• Selection and procurement of process equipment including definition of requirements, technical and economic analysis, project support and release
• Assessment and optimization of processes using appropriate methods such as CIP and RCA in case of disruptions according to Kaizen and Six-Sigma values
• Observation of technological developments and evaluation of their applicability

Your profile

• 5-year university engineering degree or comparable qualifications and experience in similar position desirable
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience in high-precision mechanical manufacturing methods, preferably in micro-coil winding and handling
• Independent, proactive working style with high commitment and motivation
• Thrive when working on complex problems in interdisciplinary teams
• Strong proficiency in English and intermediate proficiency in German, both written and spoken
