Responsibilities
- In charge of managing the development of new parametric photonic test solutions from conception to product launch
- Manage the hardware product lifecycle from concept to release, including scope, schedule, resource, budget and risk management
- Align with marketing, order fulfilment, Keysight laboratories and other organizations to drive successful new product introductions
- Lead a team of engineers with a direct reporting line and support them in meeting their business and development goals
- Identify and harness leverage potential across products and platforms
- Drive technical decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
- Communicate plans and results to management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Optics, Telecommunication, Physics, Electrical Engineering with optics background)
- Minimum of 7 years post graduate work experience with a minimum of 3 years in project and product life cycle management
- Demonstrated track record in leading development teams
- Excellent written and verbal skills to be able to lead across multiple functions
- Pro‑active, strategic, and growth mindset
- Structured working style and ready to hold themselves and others accountable
- Ability to work in a multi‑site, multi‑cultural global team environment
- Fluent in English
- German language skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience with lasers, fiber‑optic parts and photonic instruments
- Knowledge about direct-detection and coherent optical communication systems
