Regional Information Security Officer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Adapt global security policies to the regional level and oversee their implementation, reporting risks to management.
• Maintain the local asset and supplier inventory, define and monitor the audit plan, and track vulnerability remediation in collaboration with the IT team.
• Lead local awareness initiatives such as phishing simulations, internal communications, and crisis exercises.
• Maintain the local Incident Response Plan (IRP) and manage regional security incidents in coordination with the Group Cyber Team.
• Ensure security requirements are embedded from the outset in all business and IT projects.
• Guarantee compliance with external regulations (PCI DSS, GDPR) and standards (NIST), and manage the regional control plan in agreement with the GRC manager.
• Produce security reports for local management and the group, and track operational and strategic KPIs.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training such as Fachinformatiker Systemintegration, a related university degree, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in GRC and security operations, with solid knowledge of security technologies (Proxy, EDR, IDP, etc.) and standards (NIST, PCI‑DSS).
• Demonstrated incident‑response experience.
• Experience working in global and local organizations, and strong communication skills.
