We offer a 24‑month temporary assignment at our headquarters in Hannover, Germany, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Check and post reinsurance statements of account from the life insurance business.
• Process and create claims reports, including technical sanction checks.
• Handle current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments.
• Participate in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB.
• Correspond with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting or tax, or business administration/business degree with corresponding specialization.
• Experience in the life‑insurance sector of an insurance and/or reinsurance company, including internship.
• Knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting guidelines.
• Conversational knowledge of English and German; Italian is an advantage.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Strong numerical, analytical and conceptual skills.
• Structured work style with strong organization and planning.
• Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary teams.
