Renewable Energy Project Development - Berlin, Germany

Solaria is a leading renewable energy company active across Southern Europe and currently expanding strongly in Germany , one of our key strategic markets. With nearly 5 GW of photovoltaic, battery storage and hybrid projects under development , we are strengthening our local team to support our growth.

We are seeking a Renewable Energy Project Development professional to lead land identification and early-stage development activities for solar, wind and storage projects across Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess suitable land for renewable energy projects (PV, wind, storage).
  • Conduct preliminary technical, regulatory and financial feasibility analyses.
  • Negotiate land lease and surface rights agreements with landowners.
  • Coordinate with environmental, technical, urban planning and legal teams.
  • Support permitting and early project development phases.

Requirements

  • University degree in Law, Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Sciences or related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in land acquisition or project development, preferably in energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Solid knowledge of land-use planning, permitting and applicable regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • GIS knowledge is a plus.
