The Research Associate candidate will:
The research aims to deepen the understanding of disordered nanoscaled structures and their photo-electro-catalytic applications, contributing to the advancement of efficient, tunable materials for energy and environmental applications.
Note: This research is part of the larger CUI-AIM program and university collaboration.
A university degree in a relevant field. Applicants should have a master’s degree in chemistry, nanoscience, materials science, physics, or a related field. Interdisciplinary and international experience is highly encouraged. A strong background in solid-state physics or chemistry is preferred. Prior experience with colloidal synthesis of nanomaterials and their characterization (SEM, TEM, PXRD) is highly preferred. Experience with X-ray spectroscopic methods (synchrotron/XFEL, pump-probe) and data analysis/interpretation is advantageous. Hands-on experience with other laboratory techniques (UV-VIS, FTIR, TGA, AFM, etc.) are assets. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are required due to the international research environment.
