With the Opportunity to Pursue a PhD in Innovation Leadership: International Market Expansion

The doctoral project is thematically embedded in the field of Innovation Leadership, with a specific research focus on International Market Expansion (India and global markets). The PhD topic is directly linked to the practical and research‑related responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Development and analysis of international market entry strategies (focus on India and global markets)
• Collaboration with corporate partners in business development and internationalization projects
• Conceptual support and research integration within MBA‑related projects
• Systematic innovation monitoring and development of a research‑based market intelligence framework
• Contribution to the academic development of Executive Education formats

Doctoral Qualification

The position serves the purpose of academic qualification (PhD). The doctoral thesis will focus on Innovation Leadership with emphasis on International Market Expansion (India focus).

Degrees Awarded

PhD (University of Bamberg) & Diploma of European Innovation (AME – ECH)

Salary

The position is remunerated at approximately 75% TV‑L E13. In the first year, the fixed salary is €3,000 per month.

Profile

• Excellent Master’s degree (e.g., in Business, Innovation, Management, or a related discipline)
• Strong interest in international market development and innovation research
• Strong analytical skills and motivation for academic research
• Very good command of English

Application

Applicants must hold a completed university degree (Bachelor and Master or equivalent) corresponding to at least 300 ECTS credits in total. A minimum grade of 2.0 or better (or equivalent) is required in both degrees. Relevant proof (transcripts and degree certificates) must be included in the application.
