Fixed‑term research associate / PhD student position in full‑time (39.83 hours/week) at the Chair of Environmental/Resource Economics and Sustainability, Ruhr‑University Bochum. Position will start at the earliest possible date and last three years.
The PhD student will investigate incentives and behavioral dimensions of consumer flexibility, focusing on demand response interventions. Work will be part of the MSCA Doctoral Network Consumer Energy Demand Flexibility in Electricity Use (CoDeF). Supervising faculty: Prof. Dr. Andreas Löschel.
The position is salaried under TV‑L, pay grade E‑13 if collective agreement requirements are met. The teaching load will be calculated according to § 3 of the Lehrverpflichtungsverordnung (North Rhine‑Westphalia). German language courses are offered by the University Language Center, and the university supports free courses for employees.
