The Institute of Political Science at the Faculty of Humanities welcomes applications for the following position starting at the earliest possible date: Research Position in the field Quantitative Political Science Methods (salary scale 13 TV-L, 75 %)

The position is limited for a time period of 3 years, with the possibility of extension.

Your role

• The position is advertised in the team for Quantitative Political Science Methods at the Institute of Political Science.
• You will be tasked with teaching two courses in the field of comparative politics or quantitative political science methods per semester.
• You will be conducting independent research as well as participating in the research of the team.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate must hold a completed university degree in political science or a neighboring discipline.

In addition, we are looking for a candidate with the following:

• We expect applicants to have experience with quantitative political science methods.
• We expect the work of the applicants to speak to the research of the team in one of the following fields: Legislative research, party research, electoral systems research, or the political system of Germany.
