What you’ll do

  • Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director R&I, you will be responsible for all brand and sales related activities for COPD and lead the marketing and sales team.
  • Lead the COPD Franchise across all current and future indications (inhaled + biologic) and be responsible for a near‑term new product launch in collaboration with the cross‑functional team.
  • Develop the annual brand strategy and operational plan and execute it cross‑functionally. Continuously incorporate market conditions into your planning.
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs, market access, medical and sales to ensure adequate implementation of planned activities, including promotional and non‑promotional materials, omnichannel campaigns, and educational events.
  • Maintain contacts with opinion leaders and represent AstraZeneca at scientific and promotional events.
  • Be responsible for the annual budgeting (costs and sales) and supervise these goals on an ongoing basis.

Your Profile

  • At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with marketing and sales management. Experience in biologics, respiratory and/or severe asthma is a plus.
  • Innovative, goal‑oriented personality with high self‑motivation.
  • Strong analytical skills; problem‑solving and solution‑oriented, capable of handling complex tasks.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills. Ability to influence others and lead cross‑functional partners at various seniority levels.
  • Strong team player who is determined and can succeed with a high level of autonomy.
  • Enjoys being close to the market and customers, fostering a customer‑centric mindset in your team.
  • Experience at global level and understanding of drug development lifecycle, commercial and market access aspects.
  • Languages: Proficient in German and English (required). French is a plus.
