Your Tasks

Supporting the further development and optimization of store formats (mainly small formats Smart and Xpress)
KPI tracking for format performance
Analyzing performance and identifying optimization potentials for the Smart and Xpress formats
Ensuring the implementation of international concepts and guidelines within the countries
Managing and supporting projects related to the expansion and continuous improvement of the small store formats
Ensuring alignment of country-specific roll‑outs with group‑wide strategies
Facilitating the exchange of best practices between countries and the international holding

Your Profile

Degree in business administration or related fields
Experience in retail strategy, store portfolio optimization, format development or network planning
Advanced analytical skills, including financial modeling (unit economics, P&L, CAPEX/OPEX, payback) and performance reporting
Knowledge of business models like commission or franchise are a plus
Communication skills in English (written and verbal), German is a plus
Solutions orientation, intercultural competence and sensitivity

The department “Store & Business Formats” within MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group is responsible for the development as well as implementation of new store formats. This starts from setting the strategy for our four different store formats based on customer motivation, via steering the implementation of new formats in the countries till the development of new business models like commission or franchise.
