About the Role

As Retail Operations Manager, you will manage our Field Force, Merchandising, and Anker Store Staff teams across Western Europe, with a strong focus on Germany. You will ensure excellent in-store execution, effective coordination of merchandising activities, and smooth alignment between sales and retail. This is a hands‑on role with people management and operational responsibilities, ideal for someone who thrives on combining strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Field Force, Merchandising, and Store Staff teams across Western Europe, with a main focus on Germany
  • Develop briefs for merchandising activities and coordinate with internal teams on POS materials, fixtures, and displays
  • Oversee store coverage, visit schedules, and merchandising execution across the region
  • Ensure store staff and field teams are trained, motivated, and aligned with retail priorities
  • Monitor compliance with brand standards and retail execution KPIs, maintaining databases for fixtures, performance, and team reporting
  • Collect insights from the field and stores and share recommendations to improve retail programs and execution standards
  • Collaborate with sales, retail, and trade marketing to support product launches, activations, and campaigns
  • Partner with agencies on recruitment, onboarding, and training for Field Force and Merchandising staff
  • Contribute to scaling retail operations as our presence grows in other Western European markets

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail operations, field team management, or merchandising
  • Experience managing or coordinating outsourced teams through agencies is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and people management skills with the ability to oversee multiple teams
  • Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and database management
  • Fluency in German and English, with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Based in Düsseldorf, with willingness to travel within Germany and across the region
