Description

As a Cellular RF Systems Integration Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of developing next-generation cellular transceivers.

Responsibilities

• Innovating & Optimizing: Bring-up, verify, and optimize RF subsystems for best-in-class modem performance.
• Automation & Efficiency: Develop and enhance automated test scripts to ensure flawless functionality using virtual prototypes and hardware.
• Performance Excellence: Assess RF performance against 3GPP standards, fine-tuning parameters for 2G/3G/4G/5G networks to exceed expectations.
• Problem Solving: Analyze complex RF data, identify root causes, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement solutions.
• Leadership: Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, driving debugging efforts and mentoring peers.
• Quality Focus: Implement rigorous quality checks and regression tests to uphold Apple’s high standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of RF and measurement techniques.
• Proven experience in debugging RF cellular systems and conducting root cause analyses.
• Strong Python programming skills for test automation.
• Expertise in interpreting 3GPP cellular standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with RF measurement equipment and cellular test platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals for enhanced system analysis.
• English language proficiency required.
• A Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical/Hardware Engineering, Computer Science with RF specialization, or equivalent industrial experience.
