Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH in Manching (Germany, on site job)

This position is subject to international regulations on military and aerospace projects, which require specific legal and security authorizations.

Your Tasks

The role involves leading and conducting safety assessments (Functional Hazard Assessment, System Safety Assessment) and risk analyses for military aircraft and systems, supporting development and certification phases. Responsibilities include performing common-cause analyses, managing safety requirements and evidence, interfacing with various technical domains and stakeholders, and reviewing supplier safety data.

Your Profil

• M.Sc./B.Sc. or PhD in Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering or a related field required
• Experience with Safety Tools (e.g. Isograph FaultTree+, Reliability Workbench) is required
• Knowledge/understanding of Aircraft systems is mandatory
• System Safety Assessment experience would be an advantage
• At least 2 years of System Engineering experience with interface to Safety
• Assessment/Airworthiness/Certification is needed
• Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
