Are you business-driven, creative, pragmatic, and passionate about working with people daily? This job is for you! We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Specialist to support the full sales process and collaborate closely with our DACH sales team. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end business development process—from initial contact, meeting preparation, and information gathering to proposal development and contract negotiation, under the guidance of the Chief Operating Officer.

Minimum requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in the IT industry or software development environment, preferably in the DACH region
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong telephone and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders
  • Effective written and oral communication, including presentation skills
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with clients
  • Proactive, persuasive, and a good listener with a hands-on mentality
  • Autonomous in managing priorities, yet a team player focused on company interests
  • Proficiency in desktop research, data analysis, and accurate record-keeping
  • Tenacity and motivation to seek new business and meet targets

Responsibilities:

  • Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers
  • Acquiring new customers and building reliable relationships with decision-makers
  • Fostering ongoing relationships with clients
  • Meeting with clients face-to-face or via phone
  • Nurturing customer relationships with key decision-makers
  • Analyzing and reporting on business activities
  • Understanding customer needs and responding with effective solutions
  • Thinking strategically to develop and improve the business
  • Planning operational changes as needed
