DG-RM-010: Sales & Business Development Manager

DATAGROUP in Ingelheim am Rhein or Hybrid

Position located in Ingelheim am Rhein.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic business development: Expand market share for our CORBOX portfolio, including new industries and target markets.
  • Consulting and solution development: Analyze customer needs and develop customized IT service offers in close collaboration with technical teams.
  • Negotiation & contract closing: Manage the entire sales cycle – from first contact to successful contract signing.
  • Key account management: Build long‑term, trusting relationships with C‑level decision‑makers (CIO, CTO, IT‑leadership).
  • Market observation: Analyze trends, competition and customer requirements to develop innovative business development approaches.

Required Skills

  • Several years of experience in business development or sales of IT services, preferably in managed services, cloud or IT outsourcing.
  • Proven sales success with mid‑market customers (200+ IT seats) and enterprise clients.
  • Strong network with IT decision‑makers and good understanding of complex IT infrastructures and services.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, confident C‑level presence.
  • Strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, high self‑drive.
  • Travel readiness within the Rhine‑Main area for customer acquisition and support.
