Sales Development Representative (Vape / E-cigarette)

We are a fast-growing Chinese company specialising in vaping and next-generation nicotine products (NGP) , with an expanding footprint across the European market.

About the Role

This role will focus on direct sales and promotion of our vape products within the FMCG retail market. The candidate must be able to actively sell into convenience shops and tobacco retailers, driving product adoption and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Retail Sales & Promotion: Conduct regular in-person visits to retail shops, convenience stores, and tobacco outlets. Actively pitch and sell products, ensuring vape items are stocked and promoted.
  • Account Development: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with store owners and decision makers, identifying opportunities to expand sales.
  • Market Monitoring & Feedback: Track competitor activities, pricing, and consumer preferences in the FMCG/vaping retail space. Share insights with HQ to refine sales and marketing strategies.
  • Brand Visibility: Negotiate for increased shelf space and in-store visibility. Execute promotional activities to strengthen brand awareness.
  • Event & Campaign Support: Participate in in-store promotions, roadshows, and industry events to support sales and brand engagement.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience: Proven direct sales experience in FMCG, ideally with retail channel sales. Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets through in-person store visits and negotiations. Experience in e-cigarette, tobacco, or related FMCG categories is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong sales and persuasion skills, comfortable with cold calling/door-to-door retail pitching. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Self-motivated, target-driven, able to work independently.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively in the assigned region. Familiarity with local FMCG markets and key players.

Please note: As the company is currently expanding into the German market and does not yet have a registered local entity, an Employer of Record (EOR) partner is used to ensure full compliance with local labor laws.

The candidate will be officially employed by the EOR under a fixed-term contract (CDD), while working fully dedicated to their business and team.

The initial contract is for 6 months, with a planned renewal of 12 months based on performance and business development.
