Sales Representative (w/m/x) Moderne Wundversorgung Klinik (Hamburg / Bremen)

As a Sales Representative (w/m/x) in Advanced Wound Management (AWM), you will be responsible for providing expert advice on medical products and for driving sales in hospitals and clinics across your territory. Your work includes advising and supporting users of products in chronic and post‑operative wound care, as well as vacuum wound therapy. You will collaborate closely with team members in your region, for example on transition management or strategic sales projects and target groups.

With an upcoming retirement of a valued colleague, we seek a successor, ideally starting .

Sales Territory: Parts of Hamburg, Bremen, and adjacent areas of Lower Saxony

What your role entails?

  • Realise the set revenue targets within the sales territory
  • Manage existing customers and strategically acquire new ones (hospitals, clinics, medical care centres)
  • Provide expert advice on products in modern wound care
  • Build trusting, long‑term relationships with diverse stakeholders in hospitals (e.g., chief physicians, nursing leaders, procurement)
  • Continuous analysis of the territory regarding competitors, customer requirements, purchase‑deciding characteristics and local market changes, within budget planning
  • Document sales activities in the CRM system
  • Plan and conduct product training and workshops independently with users
  • Collaborate closely with the team on strategic projects

What you need to succeed

  • Medical training (e.g., operating room nurse, health and nursing specialist) or, alternatively, another professional training or completed degree combined with relevant work experience
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience selling medical products in the inpatient setting (clinic/hospital)
  • A strong service and customer orientation, communication strength, negotiation talent and a high drive for success
  • Team spirit, organisational talent and enthusiasm
  • Proficiency with IT systems such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent German and good English skills (spoken & written)
  • Class B driver's licence and residence as well as 80% travel willingness within the mentioned area

Desirable additional qualifications

  • Further training / certification in wound management (ICW)
  • Experience in an international group
  • Understanding of clinic structures and processes (e.g., billing, DRG system, procurement)
