SAP Application Manager for Basis & PI/PO (m/f/d)

Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, with location in Berlin, is currently undertrustmanagement of theFederalNetworkAgency.

We are responsible for the management and optimization of PCK, MiRO and Bayernoil refineries as well as for the marketing and sales of mineral oil products.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA (preferably release 2023 or newer), SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA database administration and performance optimization
• Experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP Solution Manager, system integrations, and familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and SAP BTP is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP system security, backups, transport management, high availability, monitoring, and automation in hybrid environments
• Experience in managing or supervising external SAP service providers or internal technical teams
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills; German skills are an advantage

Your tasks

• Reports to the Head of SAP Team
• Oversee and manage the SAP S/4HANA 2023 On-Premise landscape, including SAP Fiori, SAP GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance), SAP Solution Manager, and integration components (middleware) such as SAP PI/PO
• Coordinate, supervise and lead the work of external service providers and ensure service quality, timely delivery, and adherence to SLAs
• Ensure smooth daily system operations, including monitoring, health checks, incident and change request resolution, performance tuning, patching, and transport management
• Manage technical communication and integration layers across SAP and non-SAP systems and/or applications such as SAP Web Dispatcher, SAProuter, SAP Hana Studio/Cockpit, Archive Server by OpenText, Information Extraction Services (IES) by OpenText, and SAP ADS (Adobe Document Services)
• Drive initiatives for automation, process optimization, and adoption of SAP best practices aligned with company goals
• Manage and support technical workstreams in projects involving system technical upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts
