SAP Basis & BTP Consultant

Tasks

• Operating, monitoring, and ensuring the stability and performance of the SAP system landscape
• Planning and carrying out SAP installations, upgrades, and patching activities
• Managing external service providers and coordinating technical tasks
• Administration of SAP users, roles, and authorisations
• Supporting, maintaining, and further developing the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Contributing to SAP projects, including S/4HANA-related initiatives, within the infrastructure stream
• Acting as a technical advisor to internal departments and supporting the ongoing optimisation of SAP-supported business processes

Profile

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of hands‑on experience in SAP Basis administration
• Practical experience with SAP BTP
• Solid knowledge of SAP user, role, and authorisation management
• Experience working with external partners and supporting project execution
• Structured, analytical, and solution‑oriented working style
• Strong understanding of complex system landscapes and business processes
• High service mindset, strong consulting skills, and confident communication
• Team‑oriented personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent German and good English skills
