What you'll build

As a Solution Sales Executive (SSE) (f/m/d) you will build trust and manage strategic executive relationships with customers’ buying center CXOs to address business challenges. You will drive demand for SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) using GTM strategy through direct customer engagements, accelerating deal velocity with transformative sales motions.

You bring deep industry domain and process expertise, translating end‑state vision with use cases and prototypes to achieve cloud revenue growth through bookings, retention, and expansion. You also ensure ongoing success to realize sustainable customer lifetime value coupled with AI and innovation.

BDC is a SaaS solution that unifies and governs all SAP data while seamlessly connecting with third‑party data, enabling business leaders to make impactful, data‑driven decisions.

  • Build trust and relationship with CXO: Build trust via collaboration and executive relationships, ensuring a continued path to success through the Customer Value Journey.
  • Position value through solutions: Understand customers’ business challenges and bring domain and process expertise to provide a strong PoV and position value.
  • Drive demand and revenue via GTM strategy: Focus on demand generation via GTM strategy, accelerate deal velocity, and grow strategic footprint for BDC solutions.

What you bring

  • Account Management: Several years of experience in customer relationship management, sales, and software license and cloud subscription revenue; a successful track record in driving solution adoption, creating and managing roadmaps, enabling value realization, and promoting sustained solution‑led expansion.
  • Functional expertise: Several years of experience in selling business software/IT solutions with a proven track record in business application software sales; demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy, multidimensional sales processes in a fast‑paced, consultative and competitive market.
  • Soft skills: Strategic thinking with high creativity and innovation; ability to build long‑term, trust‑based relationships with stakeholders; thoughtful and results‑driven.
  • SAP Specific Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP BDC offerings and a broad knowledge of SAP’s portfolio and the business processes they enable.
  • Language proficiency: Fluency in German and English, alongside excellent communication and presentation abilities.
