SAP EWM Business Analyst – Manufacturing & Logistics / Electrical Manufacturing

Thor Companies is working with a leading industrial organisation operating across manufacturing and centralised logistics to appoint an SAP EWM Business Analyst .
This position sits at the heart of warehouse execution, production supply, and outbound distribution , combining hands‑on SAP EWM ownership with close day‑to‑day collaboration with operational teams in a live environment.
The Role
Operational Support & Warehouse Execution
- Act as the primary SAP EWM contact for warehouse and logistics operations
- Support and troubleshoot inbound, outbound, picking, packing, RF, staging, and inventory processes
- Handle daily operational topics such as wave creation, exception handling, and queue monitoring
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and operations leads to ensure system stability and throughput
Manufacturing & Distribution Process Optimisation
- Analyse end‑to‑end warehouse and supply processes supporting both production supply and customer distribution
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve flow, and increase transparency
- Support standardisation across sites and contribute to automation and material‑flow initiatives
Configuration, Integration & SAP Projects
- Configure SAP EWM including storage types, handling units, PPF, queues, RF, and warehouse orders
- Support integration with SAP S/4HANA modules such as MM, SD, WM/LE, and QM
- Collaborate with ABAP teams on functional specifications, testing, and deployments
- Lead requirements gathering, documentation, UAT, and controlled roll‑outs
Training & Stakeholder Communication
- Train warehouse and operational users on new or enhanced SAP EWM functionality
- Create SOPs, process documentation, and user guides
- Communicate system changes, enhancements, and maintenance activities clearly
What We’re Looking For
- Background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Strong hands‑on SAP EWM experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Solid understanding of warehouse execution, production supply, and outbound logistics
- Experience with RF processes, exception handling, and operational support
- Strong analytical mindset and structured problem‑solving approach
- Confident communicator across IT, warehouse, and operational teams
- Exposure to automation, conveyors, MFS, is an advantage.
