SAP PM Consultant (Freelance, Remote Europe)

Overview

Our automotive customer is in the process of becoming independent as part of a larger organizational transformation. To support this transition we are looking for an experienced SAP PM Consultant to strengthen the rollout and optimization of Plant Maintenance processes. The focus of this role is process consulting and light customizing no ABAP development or interface setup required.

Tasks

• Provide process consulting in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) within an international project context
• Align business requirements with system capabilities and best practices
• Perform light customizing and support testing and validation activities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth rollout and adoption
• Support documentation training and knowledge transfer for key users
• Identify process improvements and contribute to harmonization of maintenance processes

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience as an SAP PM Consultant
• Strong module know-how in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
• Strong understanding of Plant Maintenance processes (preventive maintenance maintenance orders notifications technical objects)
• Experience in process consulting configuration and rollout projects
• Hands‑on experience with testing documentation and key user support
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in international teams
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work remotely across Europe and collaborate effectively with distributed teams
