SAP S4 HANA – SAP Controlling Expert (m/w/d)

Role – Principal Consultant

Technology – SAP FICO

Location – Germany (Travel Needed)

Job requirements

• Must have SAP FICO experience with deep expertise in SAP CO module.
• Lead end‑to‑end SAP FICO solution design, configuration, and delivery.
• Drive workshops with business stakeholders to define controlling requirements and process improvements.
• Configure key CO areas including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), and Product Costing (PC).
• Implement and optimize Profitability Analysis (CO‑PA) and Universal Allocation in S/4HANA.
• Collaborate across FI, MM, PM, and SD teams for integrated process design.
• Review and validate functional specifications for RICEFW developments.
• Lead system testing, UAT cycles, and cutover execution.
• Provide expert‑level production support and root cause analysis for CO issues.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge management.
• Support the organization’s CO strategy, governance, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in CCA, PCA, IO, Product Costing, Material Ledger, and CO‑PA.
• Strong S/4HANA Finance experience including Universal Journal and real‑time integration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Preferred

• S/4HANA FICO certification.
• Exposure to SAC Planning or Group Reporting.
• Experience in Utility Industry
