SAP S/4 Integration / API Expert (m/f/d); FREELANCE; GERMANY

Good afternoon,

I am looking an experienced SAP S/4 Integration / API Expert to support a master data management pilot integrating MDM → Databricks → SAP S/4HANA , with a focus on enabling write‑back scenarios into S/4 via SAP APIs.

Project:

Start: ASAP

Capacity: Full-time or 3-4 days possible

Initial Duration : 3 months (high chance of extension)

Remote and on-site Share: Remote (Bielefeld onsite only if needed)

Project languages: English (Fluent) German (Fluent)

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on SAP S/4 APIs (Material Master, Business Partner)
• Deep Insert, $batch processing, PATCH update logic
• Error handling, rollback, concurrency management
• Know‑how transfer to the project team

Must‑Haves

• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Data APIs
• Hands‑on experience with create/update scenarios
• Knowledge of Product & Business Partner data models
• Integration experience with external platforms (Databricks ideal)

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Practical Databricks experience
• Integration architecture or lead background
