Position

SAP System Administrator with a focus on Basis Operations

Position to be filled as soon as possible | Fixed-term until January 31, 2028 | Full-time | Campus IT | Campus Deutz

Responsibilities

Responsibility for the proper operation of SAP systems, including currently deployed and future modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, HCM)
Execution of SAP transports
Second-level support and user administration for internal users
Supervision and monitoring of the SAP system landscape
Incident management and error analysis
Project-related collaboration as an interface between operations and development
Coordination and management of knowledge development within the SAP Basis team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or vocational training, both with a focus on IT, or comparable knowledge gained through relevant experience
Professional experience in the SAP field, preferably SAP Basis
In-depth knowledge of SAP system administration
Basic knowledge of Oracle databases and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
Experience in service request fulfillment and incident management according to ITIL, ideally using a ticketing system
Very good German and good English skills
Strong analytical skills and a reliable, independent work style
Excellent teamwork skills and reliability
